DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Rationality check, high side (closed position out of range)
  • Check EWGA
  • Check waste gate valve
Case 2
  • Rationality check, low side (closed position out of range)
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 9.5V
  • ETC is higher than 5.25°C (41.45°F)
  • IAT is higher than 5.25°C (41.45°F)
  • Control duty is lower than -25%
  • Sensor voltage at adapted closed point is valid
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Waste gate close position voltage at closed position adaptation is higher than 4.6V
Case 2
  • Waste gate close position voltage at closed position adaptation is lower than 3.2V
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
