Squib Circuit Inspection

NOTE: If dummy and dummy adaptor are not able to be prepared, use a 2Ω resistor.

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait for 1 minute or more.
Remove the DAPT and connect the dummy and dummy adapter to the DAPT connector.
Connect the battery (-) cable and ignition "ON" and wait for 30 seconds or more.
Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)" and clear DTC with KDS and diagnose again.
Are any DTCs stored in the system?
Good
- Go to "Main Harness Circuit Inspection" procedure.
No Good
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the DAPT and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good
