DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the voltage
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short circuit of the oil temperature sensor to the ground
  • Faulty oil temperature sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
  • Engine speed higher than 350RPM
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature is higher than 180°C (356°F)
Detecting Time
  • 5s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
