DTC B1475-00: Inflatable Curtain Airbag Driver Resistance Circuit Short To Ground: General Description

The Curtain Airbag (CAB) is located on driver and passenger side of headliner. It protects passenger's head and shoulder from fragments of glass or something sharpens caused by overturn. The CAB consists of airbag and inflator, airbag reduces impact from collision by inflating with gas, inflator keeps gas and uses it to deploy airbag on collision.
CAUTION:
Never measure resistance of CAB directly, current of measuring device may cause unexpected airbag deployment.
