DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check voltage
  • Short circuit in squib harness
  • Cross coupling
  • Check SRSCM
CAUTION: * Do not replace the SRSCM due to a history fault
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" or engine "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Squib lines are cross coupled
  • Make other line sink, and then other squib line answers
Diagnostic Time
  • Initialization
Recovery Time
  • Initialization (early ignition "ON" only)
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL ON
