Squib Circuit Inspection

NOTE: If dummy and dummy adaptor are not able to be prepared, use a 2Ω resistor.

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) cable and wait for 1 minute or more.
Remove the PBPT module and connect the dummy and dummy adapter to the PBPT module connector.
Connect the battery (-) cable and ignition "ON" and wait for 30s or more.
Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC) and clear DTC with KDS and diagnose again.
Are any DTCs stored in the system?
Good
- Go to "Main Harness Circuit Inspection " procedure.
No Good
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace PBPT module and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
