Component Inspection

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON".
  1. Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)".
  2. Perform "Actuation Test" of concerned component with KDS.

  2. Perform "Vehicle S/W Management" of concerned component with KDS.

Good 

  1. Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
  2. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  2. If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the ECV and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
