DTC B1246-11: Air Mix Potentiometer Short (High) - Driver: General Description

The driver temperature actuator (air mix potentiometer) located on the heater module, regulates the temperature by sending a signal from control unit and adjusts position of temperature door by operating temperature switch and then temperature. The temperature will be regulated by the hot or cold air ratio decided based on the position of temperature door. The potentiometer signal sends the temperature door position value to A/C control module.
