Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 Driver temperature actuator connector 7 (power) Chassis ground - 5V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 Driver temperature actuator connector 5 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component and A/C control module.
 Driver temperature actuator connector 6 (feedback) A/C control module connector 6 (feedback) Approx. below 1Ω
Driver temperature actuator connector 6 (feedback) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω

Good 

  1. Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
