DTC P2227-00: Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance: General Description

The Barometric Pressure Sensor (BPS) is located inside the ECM. It detects the atmospheric pressure at the vehicle's current location. The BPS signal is used to calculates the density of the air. The BPS plays an important role when driving in the mountains and in different altitudes.
