DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CMP signal implausible (e.g. too long a segment time, etc.)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Abnormal assembling state
  • CMPS - In (Bank1)
Enable Conditions
  • Missing tooth in crankshaft detected no CKPS error (P033500, P033600)
Threshold Value
  • Counter of implausible CMPS per camshaft revolution (i.e. 2 crankshaft revolution) is greater than 4 times
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
