- Engine speed is between 550 and 6500RPM
- Engine torque is greater than zero torque
- Time after engine start is greater than 0s
- If ECT at start is less than -7°C (19.4°F)
- Then ECT is greater than 21°C (69.8°F)
- Else ECT is greater than -7°C (19.4°F)
- No rough road detection
- Fuel system status is no fuel cut-off
- TPS error is not detected
- CKPS error is not detected
- Remark: (rough road condition check) wheel acceleration is less than 30m/s2 (determined by vehicle speed sensor)

Case1 |
- Misfire rate is greater than 5% within 1000 revolutions
- Misfire rate is greater than 2.25% especially first 1000 revolutions with catalyst heating

- Misfire rate (catalyst damage catalyst temperature is over 1050°C (1922°F)) is greater than 5~33% within 200 revolutions
