Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON".	BPS connector	2 (power)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 4.9V
	BPS connector	1 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. 0V
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.	BPS connector	1 (signal)	Chassis ground	-	∞ (infinity)Ω
	BPS connector	4 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the BPS and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good

Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
