DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in C-CAN line between ESC and FCA module
  • Faulty FCA module
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • In case that FCA (+SCC) message was not received for more than specific time

    * Specific time: control in progress: 500ms

    * Specific time: no control in progress: 1500ms

  • In case that FCA (+SCC) message did not increase for specific times continuously

    * Specific times: control in progress = 10 times

    * Specific times: no control in progress = 30 times

  • If the checksum of the FCA message and the checksum calculated by the ESC do not match consecutively more than a certain number of times

* Specific times: control in progress = 10 times
* Specific times: no control in progress = 30 times
Warning Lamp

Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
