DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty ECM/PCM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • Abnormal EMS message is received for more than specific times continuously
  • Specific time: 100ms
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
Warning Lamp
  • ESC/DBC/AVH warning lamp "ON"
