Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component. Ignition "ON"	Stop lamp switch connector	4 (brake lamp switch power)	Chassis ground	-	B+
Ignition "OFF". Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component and ESC.	Stop lamp switch connector	5 (brake lamp switch signal)	ESC connector	16 (brake lamp switch signal)	Approx. below 1Ω
	Stop lamp switch connector	6 (ground)	Chassis ground	-	Approx. below 1Ω

Good

Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

No Good

Repair open or short in circuit and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
