Repair Procedures: Replacement: [LH]
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
Information
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the rear seat assembly [LH].
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Push the lock pins, and remove the rear seat headrest (A).
- Remove the rear seat back webbing guide (A) by using a remover.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear seat folding bezel (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the child anchor cover (A).
- Remove the hog-ring clips (A).
- Remove the protector (A) located in the bottom side of the rear seat back.
- Open the seat back side zipper (A).
- Remove the back board (A) after removing the hog-ring clips.
- Pull out the rear seat headrest guides (A) while pinching both sides of the lower part of the guides, and remove them.
- Loosen the mounting bolt, remove the rear seat armrest (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cap (A).
- Remove the rear seat back cover assembly (A) from the rear seat back frame.
- After removing the velcro tape (A) and hog - ring clips (B) inside the rear seat cushion cover, remove the seat cushion covering.
- Remove the rear seat back cover (A) from the rear seat back pad.
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure that the connectors are connected completely
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
- To prevent wrinkles, make sure that the cover (B) is stretched evenly before connecting the hog-ring clips (A).
- Replace the hog-ring clips with new ones using special tool (C) (09880-4F000).
