[Center pillar upper trim]

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the center pillar lower trim.

    (Refer to Interior Trim - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")

  2. Remove the seat belt (A).

    NOTE: Anchor seat belt separation method 
    1. Expose the red colored indicator pin (A) by pushing the slot hole using a Ø 1.5mm pointed tool as below illustration.
      CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the anchor cover by a pointed tool when pushing the slot hole.
    2. Put a (-) driver (Ø4mm) into a latch hole (2) and turn it clockwise.
    3. Remove the connector by pulling seat belt (3).
      NOTE: When connecting the anchor connector, securely connect it until "click" sound is heard.

  3. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center pillar upper trim (A).

  4. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
