[Center pillar upper trim]
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")
- Remove the seat belt (A).NOTE: Anchor seat belt separation method
- Expose the red colored indicator pin (A) by pushing the slot hole using a Ø 1.5mm pointed tool as below illustration.CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the anchor cover by a pointed tool when pushing the slot hole.
- Put a (-) driver (Ø4mm) into a latch hole (2) and turn it clockwise.
- Remove the connector by pulling seat belt (3).NOTE: When connecting the anchor connector, securely connect it until "click" sound is heard.
- Expose the red colored indicator pin (A) by pushing the slot hole using a Ø 1.5mm pointed tool as below illustration.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center pillar upper trim (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
