DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Data status receiving from TP
  • Open or short circuit in antenna coil
  • Faulty antenna coil
  • Faulty IBU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal battery voltage is 9 to 16V
Threshold Value
  • Error in the antenna output
  • Antenna faulty
Detecting Time
  • Immediately
Failsafe
  • Limp home mode can be started by input password
Erase Condition
  • Active DTC Erasing
    1. Normal transponder searching
  • History and active DTC erasing
    1. Ignition "OFF" → "ON" 30 times
    2. DTC erasing with KDS
    3. Normal key registration completed
