DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the data from EMS
  • IMMO registration attempt with a different VIN to the learned EMS
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal battery voltage is 9 to 16V
Threshold Value
  • Difference between VIN data from EMS and "LEARNT" IMMO in authentication procedure
Detecting Time
  • Immediately
Erase Condition
  • Active DTC Erasing
    1. Normal transponder searching
  • History and active DTC erasing
    1. Ignition "OFF" → "ON" 30 times
    2. DTC erasing with KDS
    3. Normal key registration completed
