Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
 MDPS 1 (Memory power) 1 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.3. Ignition "ON".
 MDPS 2 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
 MDPS 7 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
MDPS 8 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
 ICU 9 (C-CAN high) ICU 10 (C-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
MDPS 7 (C-CAN high) MDPS 8 (C-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
ICU 9 (C-CAN high) MDPS 7 (C-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
ICU 10 (C-CAN low) MDPS 8 (C-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
