CAN Communication Line Inspection
- Ignition switch "OFF"
- Disconnect battery (-) cable.
- Refer to "appropriate service information" and disconnect EPB ECU and IGPM connector.
- Measure the resistance between Pin No. 17 (C-CAN High) terminal of EPB ECU harness connector and Pin No. 15 (C-CAN High) terminal of IGPM harness connector.
- Measure the resistance between Pin No. 25 (C-CAN Low) terminal of EPB ECU harness connector and Pin No. 16 (C-CAN Low) terminal of IGPM harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in C-CAN circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
