DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  1. CAN Communication Circuit Open
  2. Faulty PCM (TCM)
Threshold Value
  • PCM (TCM (Gear position, etc)) message is not received for more than 500 msec within normal voltage condition
  • The fault is not checked for 2 sec after ignition "ON"
  • The fault is not checked if CAN BUS OFF is present.
Fail Safe
  • DAR/Dynamic Braking (ESC) inhibited
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
