Main Harness Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition switch "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable and wait at least for one minute.
  3. Refer to "SRS CONTROL MODULE (SRSCM) and CURTAIN AIRBAG (CAB) MODULE " and disconnect SRSCM and curtain airbag-driver connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 2 (Low) terminal of curtain airbag-driver harness connector and chassis ground.
  5. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 1 (High) terminal of curtain airbag-driver harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (Infinite)Ω

  6. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    CAUTION: If you strike or spin the SRSCM at the IG "ON" state, the seat-belt pretensioner, curtain-airbag or side-airbag could be unfolded and bring on danger. Handle it with care.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
