Main Circuit Inspection

Ignition switch "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect DCAB and SRSCM connector.
Measure resistance between terminal pin No. 2 (Low) of DCAB harness connector and pin No. 24 (Low) of SRSCM (Airbag ECU) harness connector.
Measure resistance between terminal pin No. 1 (High) of DCAB harness connector and pin No. 23 (High) of SRSCM (Airbag ECU) harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1 Ω

Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace the SRSCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
CAUTION: Please be careful handling the SRSCM. The seat belt pre-tensioner, curtain airbag and side airbag can be operated when the SRSCM has an impact and rotation when ignition switch is "ON". It may be caused serious risk.

NO
- If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, Replace the SRSCM main circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
