Main Harness Circuit Inspection
- Ignition switch "OFF".
- Disconnect battery (-) cable and wait at least for one minute.
- Refer to "SIDE IMPACT SENSOR (SIS) " and disconnect Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver connector.
- Connect battery (-) cable.
- Ignition switch "ON"
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 2 (High) terminal of Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure the voltage between Pin No. 1 (Low) terminal of Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to figure below
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
