Component Inspection

Ignition "ON".
Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 2 (High) terminal of the Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 1 (Low) terminal of the Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.

Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace Side Impact Sensor (SIS) Rear-Driver and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
