Main Harness Circuit Inspection

Ignition switch "OFF".
Disconnect battery (-) cable and wait at least for one minute.
Refer to "SIDE AIRBAG (SAB) MODULE " and disconnect side airbag front-driver connector.
Connect battery (-) cable.
Ignition switch "ON" & Engine "OFF"
Measure the voltage between Pin No. 1 (High) terminal of side airbag front-driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Measure the voltage between Pin No. 2 (Low) terminal of side airbag front-driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to figure below

Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
CAUTION: If you strike or spin the SRSCM at the IG "ON" state, the seat-belt pretensioner, curtain-airbag or side-airbag could be unfolded and bring on danger. Handle it with care.

- If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
