L1 (U) Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF"
Refer to "GEAR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY " and disconnect Gear Shift Actuator connector.
Ignition "ON"
Measure voltage between Pin No. 1 (L1) terminal of Gear Shift Actuator harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 11.5V
Is measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "L2 (V) CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in circuit between Gear Shift Actuator and TCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
