DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check Resistance
  1. Short to power in Driver airbag harness
  2. Poor connection between shorting bar and release pin
  3. Faulty Knee Airbag
  4. Check SRSCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Short to Battery in Passenger Airbag 2nd circuit (Below 1.5k ohm)
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • 3s (300msx10)
De-Qualification
  • 6s (300msx20)
MIL ON Condition
  • MIL ON
