■ Check short to battery in CAN communication line

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect all related module connectors.
Ignition "ON"
Measure voltage between Pin No. 3 (High) terminal of Data Link Connector (DLC) and chassis ground.
Measure voltage between Pin No. 11 (Low) terminal of Data Link Connector (DLC) and chassis ground.
Specification: approx. 0V
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "■ Check short to ground in CAN communication line " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
