Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification

  1. Ignition "ON".
TCM connector 18 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
TCM connector 17 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
TCM connector 18 (P-CAN high) TCM connector 17 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
ECM (component side) 85 (P-CAN high) ECM (component side) 63 (P-CAN low) Approx. 120Ω
ICU (component side) 9 (P-CAN high) ICU (component side) 8 (P-CAN low) Approx. 120Ω

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
ABS/ESP connector (E/O EPB) 1, 25 (memory power) Chassis ground - Approx. 12V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
ABS/ESP connector (E/O EPB) 32 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - Approx. 12V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
ABS/ESP connector (E/O EPB) 13, 38 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
TCM connector 18 (P-CAN high) ABS/ESP connector (E/O EPB) 8 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
TCM connector 17 (P-CAN low) ABS/ESP connector (E/O EPB) 7 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
ESP connector (With EPB) 1, 30 (memory power) Chassis ground - Approx. 12V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
ESP connector (With EPB) 37 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - Approx. 12V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
ESP connector (With EPB) 14, 46 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
TCM connector 18 (P-CAN high) ESP connector (With EPB) 23 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
TCM connector 17 (P-CAN low) ESP connector (With EPB) 22 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
