Component Inspection
- Ignition "OFF", connect KDS.
- Ignition "ON", select "Current Data" mode.
- Monitor the "Passenger Buckle Switch status" parameter on the KDS.
Specification: Passenger Buckle Switch on - Buckled, Passenger Buckle Switch off - Unbuckled
- Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the part's and/or SRSCM connector or was repaired and SRSCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
NO
- Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
- If problem still occurs, replace Buckle Switch Passenger and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
