DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Operation Duration and Current Monitoring
  1. Faulty LH EPB Actuator Circuit
  2. Faulty LH EPB Actuator
Threshold Value
  • Current stays the same after Actuator driving for more than 1s.
  • Actuator supply voltage (Motor +, Motor -) difference is over 1V for more than 500 ms during Non actuator driving condition.
Fail Safe
  • EPB operation inhibited
  • Normal actuator side operates normally
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
