Main harness Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minute.
  3. Disconnect Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver connector and SRSCM main harness connector.
  4. Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (High) terminal of Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
  5. Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Low) terminal of Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  ∞ (Infinite)Ω

  6. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
