Main harness Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minute.
- Disconnect Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver connector and SRSCM main harness connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (High) terminal of Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 2 (Low) terminal of Side Impact Sensor Front-Driver harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: ∞ (Infinite)Ω
- Is the measured resistance within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
