CAN Communication Line Inspection
- Ignition switch "OFF"
- Disconnect battery (-) cable.
- Refer to "ABS CONTROL UNIT and BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) (EXCEPT HEV) " and disconnect HECU and BCM connector.
- Measure the resistance between Pin No. 44 (C-CAN High) terminal of HECU harness connector and Pin No. 18 (C-CAN High) terminal of BCM harness connector.
- Measure the resistance between Pin No. 45 (C-CAN Low) terminal of HECU harness connector and Pin No. 19 (C-CAN Low) terminal of BCM harness connector.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in C-CAN circuit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
