Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  2. Loosen the glove box housing mounting bolts (A).

  3. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad lower panel (A) using a screw driver.

  4. Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A).

  5. Remove the glove box housing mounting clip (A).

    Information 

    • When installing glove box housing, be sure to insert lock pin (A) into wiring tape (B).

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure that the connectors are connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
