CAN Communication Line Inspection

  1. Ignition switch "OFF"
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Refer to "FUSES & RELAYS and INDICATORS AND GAUGES " and disconnect EPB ECU and Cluster connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 17 (C-CAN High) terminal of EPB ECU harness connector and Pin No. 32 (C-CAN High) terminal of Cluster harness connector.
  5. Measure the resistance between Pin No. 25 (C-CAN Low) terminal of EPB ECU harness connector and Pin No. 33 (C-CAN Low) terminal of Cluster harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  6. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    NO
