DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Message Monitoring
  1. CAN Communication Circuit Open
  2. Poor Connector Connection
  3. Defected Cluster
Threshold Value
  • Cluster (ODO, Gear "R" signal, Driver Side Door, Hood, Trunk, Driver Seat Belt, Ignition Signal, etc) message is not received for 5 sec.
  • The fault is not checked for 2 sec after ignition "ON"
  • The fault is not checked if CAN BUS OFF is present
Fail Safe
  • DAR/Dynamic Braking (ESC) inhibited
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
