Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Information
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a remover, remove the console garnish (A).
- Remove the glove box mounting hole cap (A).
- Using a remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- Remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A).
- Pull out the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).
- Remove the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).
- Remove the pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).
- Remove the crash pad under cover [RH] (A).
- Separate the glove box housing (A) after loosening the mounting screws and bolts & nuts.
- Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A) and glove box housing (B).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure that the connectors are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
