- Shift lever position "P" & Ignition "ON"/"READY". ("READY" lamp ON in Instrument cluster)
- Start the engine and turn the headlight, rear window defogger and all other electrical devices.
- Measure voltage between (+) terminal and (-) terminal of battery while maintaining engine RPM at 2500RPM
