DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short or open in C-CAN line between IBAU and MDPS
  • Faulty MDPS
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • In case that steering angle sensor message is not received more than 500ms under normal voltage condition (The monitoring starts 1.5s after Ignition "ON")
Warning Lamp
  • ESC (ESP), AVH warning indicator lamp "ON"
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
