Monitor KDS/GDS Data

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS) Calibration.
  2. Ignition "ON".
  1. Connect KDS/GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Perform "Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS) Calibration" in "Vehicle S/W management" with KDS/GDS.

Good 
  • Fault might be caused by incorrect calibration or Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS) has been repaired/replaced and calibration has not been performed. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
  • Fault might be intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and control module memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check terminal of battery, all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
No Good 
  • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS) in (PSU) PRESSURE SOURCE UNIT and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    * In case of replacing Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS), perform "Vehicle S/W Management" procedure MONITOR KDS/GDS DATA .
