Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
  • When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).

  2. Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

  3. Disconnect the pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).

  4. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  5. Remove the glove box hose cover (A).
  6. Remove the glove box hose (B) by sliding it upward.

  7. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the glove box housing (A).

  8. Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A).

  9. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips.
