Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Information
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).
- Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).
- Disconnect the pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad under cover [RH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws and bolts & nuts, then remove the glove box housing (A).
- Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A) and glove box lamp switch connector (B).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
