Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Information
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Remove the glove box housing.
(Refer to "GLOVE BOX HOUSING ")
- Remove the center fascia panel.
(Refer to CLUSTER FASCIA PANEL )
- Remove the heater & A/C control unit.
(Refer to "HEATER & A/C CONTROL UNIT (MANUAL) ")
(Refer to "HEATER & A/C CONTROL UNIT (DATC) ")
- Remove the crash pad garnish (A).
- Remove the crash pad air vent duct [RH] (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad main lower panel (A).
- Disconnect the start/stop button connector (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
