Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Information
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front door scuff trim (A).
- Loosen the screw and remove the hood latch release handle (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side trim (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [LH] (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad lower panel (A).
- Disconnect the crash pad lower switch connectors (A).
- Loosen the mounting screw and remove the crash pad garnish [LH] (A).
- Disconnect the crash pad side switch connectors (A).
- Remove the crash pad side air vent duct [LH] (A).
- Remove the center fascia panel (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, separate the steering column shroud upper panel (A).
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the cluster fascia panel (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
