Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the floor console.

- Remove the front pillar trim.

- Remove the cowl side trim.

- Remove the instrument cluster.

- Remove the crash pad lower panel.

- Remove the glove box housing.

- Remove the audio unit or AVN head unit.

- Remove the crash pad center lower panel.

- Remove the steering column shroud lower panel.

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove the center fascia upper panel.

- Remove the center fascia lower panel.

- Remove the multi box.

- Using a screwdriver, disconnect or remove the navigation switch (A).
- Disconnect the navigation switch connectors (A).
- Loosen the screw and remove the crash pad lower switch panel (A).
- Disconnect the crash pad lower switch panel connector (A).
- Loosen the bolts and remove the knee bolster panel (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the photo sensor (A).
- Disconnect the photo sensor connector (B).
- Remove the center speaker.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the center speaker grill (A).
- Loosen the screw and remove the center speaker (A).
- Disconnect the center speaker connector (A).
- Disconnect the passenger's airbag connector (A).
- Disconnect the wiring mounting fasteners (A).
- After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, remove the main crash pad assembly (A).
- Right before removing the main crash pad, slightly pull out the main crash pad and remove the twitter speaker connector (A) and mounting (B) located at both ends.

- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure that the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure that the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, and then enter the customer's radio station presets.
