- Switch wiring circuit open for more than 2s.

- Short circuit to GND is detected in the switch for more than 2s.

| Switch Short to BAT (Case 3) |
- Short circuit to battery is detected in the switch for more than 2s.
|
| Circuit shorted each other (Case 4) |
- Switch wiring circuit short to each other for more than 2s.
|
| Switch Stuck (Case 5) |
- Switch stuck "ON" is detected for more than 90s. on under 4km/h (Approx. 2.5mph) of vehicle speed.

| Fail Safe |
- Case 1, 2, 3, 4
- Parking Brake Apply/Release/Dynamic Braking/Dynamic Braking (ESP) inhibited
- Case 5
