Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition switch "OFF"
- Refer to REAR WHEEL SPEED SENSOR and disconnect rear wheel speed sensor connector.
- Connect VMI to KDS/GDS and set up the Oscilloscope. (2 Channel):
Channel A (+): Pin No. 1 (Signal) terminal (Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Connector)
Channel A (-): Ground
- Ignition switch "ON" & Engine "ON" & ESP/ESC switch "OFF"
- Testing condition: Engine "ON" & Turn the wheel by hand & No brake applied.
Specification: High signal - Approx. 1.77V/Low signal - Approx. 0.78V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
